Kavanaugh has always been a very moderate right-leaning judge. Not fooled, just disappointed we didn't even try to confirm another Thomas-esque ideologically.
Barrett was picked over other candidates because of her genitals, and then over the women because of her experience (but the value of experience is debatable). She was by no means the best ideologically or the only person on the shortlist capable of being confirmed. Rushing would have been a lot better ideologically and in terms of longevity.
A lot of people here liked Barret because they won't be so much prosecution of her by Dems in congress but they failed to realize that we needed strength which is something most people in our movement lack. Just call any conservative"racist" or "sexist" and see how they will fold or tell you how "the Dems are the true racists or sexists".
