That warrant from what I can tell was complete nonsense. A non expert witness was solicited by the ATF and said they thought they heard automatic gun fire coming from the property. There was zero corroborating evidence. The group was legally selling firearms at their gun shop. They also used the fact that they had many AR-15 and M-16 uppers delivered to the store. All completely legal.
And correct me if I’m wrong, illegal weapons were never found.
The Davidians might have been loons but they were all there by will and the town and local sheriff had no issues with them. If they wanted to arrest any of them on sex charges or anything else they could have done so at any point when they came into town. It was a completely botched execution.
