Disagree. 100 reps voted to kick out Cheney. This might be unpopular here, but I think we should consider the GOP to be made up of three groups.

  1. RINOs/neocons (the people in this picture, who actively help Dems),
  2. Conservative Inc (the non MAGA types that are still reliable votes incl on immigration and the culture war and don't spontaneously help the Dems)
  3. MAGA.

I know most people here despise group 2, but I think we've seen that they are mostly reliable as long as pressure is put on them.

Best to target group 1 with great fury.

By all means target group 2 in primaries, but only if you have enough resources and time to clear out the RINOs entirely.

You might dislike e.g. Ted Cruz or Kennedy or whoever, but you'd be foolish to waste time battling them when you could be battling Kinziger, Cheney, etc. You don't lose votes from them, and they don't go to CNN to slag MAGA off.

PS McConnell must go.

I tend to agree, put all the fury and hate onto the Group1 ...Group 2 will fall in line quick smart. Heads from group 1 need to roll like bowling balls to instill the fear of God into them, then they become puppies...It's how the Dems have operated for 40 years and how evil fucktards like Pelosi, Nadler, Schiff and other life long politicians get to be entrenched corporatist rulers.

Exactly. Biden does what Pelosi and the new wave of far leftists want. He was a reliable left wing vote anyway, but didn't really push left. Group 2 is perfectly able to be reliable and useful, providing it is clear that the agenda is MAGA.

100 reps voted to kick out Cheney.

It was not 100 but 61.

I bet the 61 are the MAGA aka Freedom caucus.

Only 61? That's worse than I thought, much worse. Still, more than 4%.
