What I don't get is even if you don't believe in climate change everyone on earth should be a strong supporter of renewable energy. The amount of fossil fuel on earth is limited. What happens when we run out. Humanity will have to shift to renewable sources of energy eventually. The faster we make the pivot the better. I'm a massive fan of President Trump but I wish he would change his mind on climate change and renewable energy.
People aren't against renewable energy.
People are against laws mandating the type of energy used when the renewable ones are not reliable.
Against fines for how much CO2 we emit.
Against windmills which are non recyclable, damaging for wildlife and the least efficient way to harness wind power.
And nobody is going to believe in the climate lie when a. The shoreline hasn't changed. b. They still use CO2 emitters for greenhouses c. Everyone who promotes being green also flies on private jets and has beach houses.
Literally just about everything they tell you is a lie designed to push us towards the NWO.
If you throw your garbage out onto the street you are fined. When people are doing things like burning fossil fuels which affects all of us there should be a cost just like with everything in life.
Fine China and India then.
You realize you create carbon when you exhale no? You think there should be fines for breathing?
The levels of carbon are not causing any damage. That's the lie.
They make machines to create more carbon for plants.
If climate change was real the solution would be to mandate everyone has a garden.
How can you see them pull this bs with Corona and believe the same people people they say you're going to die in 10 years cause of climate.
Theyve been saying that for the past 50 years or more.
Please think critically and stop believing snakeoil salesmen.
No, why do people keep saying stupid stuff like Co2 helps plants and we exhale Co2. Again yes, Co2 helps plants but that is not relevant. Water is good for humans and plants does that mean more tsunamis are a good thing? Climate change is causing more extreme weather events and the ocean conveyor belt to slow.
Also, about your point about exhaling. All the carbon we exhale is inhaled (via the plants we consume) so there is no net gain of Co2 in the carbon cycle. The issue with burning fossil fuels is that it creates a net surplus that the carbon cycle cannot fully absorb. We know this because the ppm of Co2 in the atmosphere is increasing and the vast majority is man made (we can detect this accurately by measuring the amount of 14C in the atmosphere).
Why do you believe celebrities?
You saw covid. Climate change is the same. Scientists being shunned for alternate viewpoints.
Climate change is a farce.
And if the plants can absorb it then PLANT MORE.
You're not as smart as you think "science" worshipper.
90% of what I've said like using different wave lengths to detect chemical compounds is from highschool chemistry.
Everything I've been saying are from peer review journals and the data calculations have been replicated and matched by universities and organizations all across the globe. Cambridge, Canada, Australia etc. The data on tempatures and man-made co2 is consistent across the board. From famous scientists like Craig Venter to based technology leaders like Elon Musk. Everyone is saying the same thing because we've all read the studies by NASA and the ICPP. My point is why do you think climate change is a lie? Like I don't get it. I mean have you ever seen Jupiter. I guess that's a lie. I don't believe the government when there is a good reason to believe so.
Like election fraud, they literally stopped counting ballots in the middle of the night and then after they were done manufacturing the #s all got screwed up. Now I add that on with the all the anomalies like Trump winning Ohio and Florida and the fact that counties are still refusing to turn over voting machines I tell my self more likely than not they rigged it.
For climate change, do you think Elon musk, Jeff Bezos and Venter are all just lying to you?

Oh I'm sorry I should have asked....can you SEE the co2 emissions like Greta?
Show us where the carbon hurt you.
Do you think Co2 isn't real? Detecting Co2 is very basic. Co2 like all chemical compounds absorb light in a unique way. The resultant wavelength acts as a "finger print" because only photons that have passed through Co2 will have those unique characteristics. By using a detector which only measures the concentration of Co2 wavelengths we can figure out how much co2 there is in a solution.
You clearly have no idea wtf you are talking about.
Succinct and true
In the words of President Trump. SAD!
Well the thing is, climate change is not an issue. It's politicized to get votes. Taking that stance would kill him. Remember, the republican party is about truth, not fantastic exaggerations.
Nuclear.
Key words in any bs fad, designed by billionaires to grab gubmint dollars, screw the environment, and make the working middle class pay, are “believe in”.
This is just so frustrating. Why do people keep repeating talking points that arn't true.
First, we are expected to run out of oil by 2050. This is based on a simple calculation of linear annual oil consumption (this is conservative because the calculation assumes there is no growth even though there has been) and known oil supplies.
Similar calculations for known natrual gas and coal supplies.

Why do people keep bringing up plants. Yes CO2 is good for plants but how does that have to do with climate change? Water is good for humans does that mean more tsunami's are a good thing?
Issue is carbon is causing a spike in extreme weather events and also the ocean conveyor belt to slow which will cause the earth to cool significantly. The Issue is not whether or not we are overdue we are causing these issues ourselves. We can accurately measure our effect on Co2 levels because we can determine which carbon isotopes come from fossil fuels.
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.ipcc.ch/site/assets/uploads/2018/03/SREX-Chap3_FINAL-1.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwiz0LLts47vAhURcq0KHSDeB9wQFjAKegQIDRAC&usg=AOvVaw2wRGqjEYnDLcFwMbJYuAIH
I keep citing my sources including Stanford and the IPCC which cross references US studies and findings with studies conducted at other universities and countries around the globe to verify we are all getting the same calculations. No one seems to care. CO2 being good for plants dosnt mean climate change is not a problem lol.
Did you know that volcanic activity produces 70+percent of all co2 emissions on the planet? And mankind only produces <3%. How do we counteract the volcanic activity by only eliminating 3%? And by eliminating I mean you would have to have every human on earth literally quit breathing
Yeah, I've heard that argument before. It is false. Humans produce about 24 billion tons of carbon while volcanic activity is responsible for 200 million (USGSl)
https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/earthtalks-volcanoes-or-humans/#:~:text=According%20to%20the%20U.S.%20Geological,CO2%20emissions%20every%20year%20worldwide.
It is true that most of the carbon produced dosnt come from humans. So vegetation and land produces 440 billion tons in carbon. Way higher than humans at only 24 billion. Here is the issue, the carbon cycle. The earth also absorbs about 450 billion tons in carbon through things like trees. So we have a net deficit of 14 billion tons. For one year, whatever that's only 14 billion tons going into the atmosphere. But it builds up just like debt. The deficit is adding more and more carbon into the atmosphere which is why the carbon ppm has been spiking
https://www.ipcc.ch/report/ar4/wg1/
Again, I love Trump and think the 2020 election was rigged. I just want him to change on climate change.
Co2 is measured in parts per billion. You wouldnt make a dent by taxing me more to produce less. I promise you that. Did you know there seven distinctly different plastics in your car. You quit using all the plastics, and refined metals that need coal fired refineries to produce, and if you got everyone on the planet to do the same, Ch8na would still not give a fuck.
Nasa, Noaa and IPCC measure co2 in the atmosphere at ppm.
https://www.esrl.noaa.gov/gmd/ccgg/about/co2_measurements.html
Also, for plastic there is plastic recycling.
Also China is taking major steps to deal with Climate change.
https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/china-says-it-will-stop-releasing-co2-within-40-years/
You should look into the energy costs of plastic recycling and get back to me on this one.
That's why we need wind and solar lol
China also said they dont have people in concentration camps
It's not about their words. It's about their actions. The largest solar farms and wind turbines are in China.

Hey OP, look into what greenhouses do to make the plants grow bigger and healthier vegetables... Maybe MORE co2 is good for the earth? Have you tried science?
Just imagine an earth where all the plants had the 1000ppm co2 they needed to thrive. All plants would be healthy strong and HUGE. What is the real goal with limiting co2? Air quality? Or the "End of the world?' Yes we should not clear cut the Earths forests. We should cut and manage them. Oregon used to sustainably harvest wood in a way that grew the forests every year. Now, because of leftist ideas and their litigation, it just all gets burnt up in fires and people die.
This
I doubt I will change any minds considering people are using arguments like well "CO2 is good for plants." How does that have anything to do with climate change? Water is good for humans and plants does that mean more tsunamis would be a good thing? The natrual carbon cycle (including plants) cannot absorb all the carbon produced once you factor in anthropogenic (human-made) carbon. That is the issue.
We can say with beyond a 99.98% degree of confidence that climate change is man made because not only has there been a spike on carbon dioxide but the vast majority of the increase is man-made carbon. We know this by measuring the concentration of 14C which has a half-life of 5700 years meaning it can't be produced from fossil fuels. Not to mention the fact that mankind's increase in carbon mimics the increase in carbon ppm. Increase of 40% since the industrial revolution.
Why is it so hard to accept that climate change is man-made?
Because when you really look into it for yourself, turns out it isn't. Even from the lefty viewpoint. "Billions of years ago 100% of matter was on fire. All matter got burnt up, it cooled and CREATED life." There used to be an Ice age. Before that not an ice age. No humans had coal power plants!?!?!? WHat??!!? Think logically. The worst we can do is kill humans off the Earth, and maybe a couple other species. Yes that is bad, but it is only from making the air bad for us to breath. The plants though, can handle much more co2 then we are giving them, hence my example. Also concrete is terrible for the "enviroment". We should probably stop building cities. No more apartments, no more roads. To get to carbon zero this would be needed. Only hemp tents for everyone.
I'm actually okay with no more cities and concrete. Just for the lulz when the liberals cant hide in their enclaves and have to make their own foods
I like that future also fren, it just may not be for everyone.
Yeah, where would we be without indoor firing ranges.
hahah. OUTDOORS!
None of those arguments make any sense. Yes, there were multiple ice ages in the past. The Issue is we are going out of our way to cause one now. Climate change is causing the ocean conveyor belt to slow (it has already slowed significantly). Also, the natrual carbon cycle cannot absorb the net carbon that we are producing. Again, there is a rise in man-made carbon in the atmosphere. Carbon ppm is rising, this indicates that the earth cannot absorb the surplus of carbon that is being created thanks to humans.
In terms of concrete, yes the production process produces a lot of CO2. However, there are alternatives like ashcrete. Just like with renewable energy we should be investing in new solutions.
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.ipcc.ch/site/assets/uploads/2018/02/TAR-03.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwj7rPC4q47vAhUClawKHeXZBOgQFjAFegQIDxAC&usg=AOvVaw3UOm_McBSMXAgeiR0bEoNW&cshid=1614575814691
Greenhouses want around 1000ppm co2. Just so you know. That is a "healthy" amount.
Yeah, that's true. Higher ppm is good for plants. We arn't plants though. The main issue is the extreme weather events and potential ice age that climate change is inducing. I don't understand why everyone on here keeps brining up plants lol.
They said the same thing about a new ice age in the sixties and seventies. Then the nineties the oceans would rise. Neither happened. And obama bought a new beach front mansion for millions of dollars he got in kickbacks on illegal foreign deals.
SHHHHHH!
I will not! Keks for everyone in this thread!!!
If you believe that Kerry guy, that the earth is heating up, and then "oops it isn't now" and now you believe there is going to be an ice age, because uhhhh "science changed" you are a moron.
I'm not going to argue since (I'm not trying to be offensive) you clearly have not read the literature and don't have an open mind. Warming and cooling are not mutually exclusive. For example, carbon allows photons to pass through it easily but absorbs heat. That's where the greenhouse effect comes from. The Issue is the greenhouse effect is causing the ocean conveyor belt to slow down which is responsible for spreading the heat from the equator to the rest of the world. 85% of the sun's heat is directed at the equator because a) it is closer to the sun and b) the sun's rays are normal to the equator. So if the ocean conveyor belt stops that will actually cause the earth to cool everywhere that is not the equator. So essentially climate change can cause global warming and cooling. The science has not changed. My point is I just don't get why people are so reluctant to believe in climate change?
I believe in climate change. (It has clearly happened drastically since Earth was, well Earth.) I do not believe that we are at a tipping point because of mans co2 output. Especially since I exhale the stuff the Gov't is trying to convince you needs to be taxed with dollars, just so you can feel good about yourself. We are clearly reading different scientists models on "climate change." I don't watch the news though, so I am not sure who is guiding your learning. I have read strong evidence that higher temp earth would bring more rain to the dryer regions. We can argue all day on the internet about it, but you don't have an open mind about this at all, just "believe" what you are told. I don't understand why people are like, I am not a scientist.. But I believe these ones and not these ones,.. Because it is popular. Personally I will decide for myself what to believe.
Anyways, np bro. I never have any luck convincing other Trump supporters :( I wish he would change on climate change though. My friends think I'm crazy. I'm a climate change activist, pro gay marriage and also think the 2020 election was rigged and Trump was a great president lol
You're not living in Texas, are you.
Problem could have easily been avoided by applying anti-freeze fluid. It's done in Canada, it's incredibly cheap they just didn't do it cause they weren't expecting it.
Well. You should be in charge of the Texas power grid. Why didn't they think of that.
You're fucking ridiculous. The fuck outta here.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/scottcarpenter/2021/02/16/why-wind-turbines-in-cold-climates-dont-freeze-de-icing-and-carbon-fiber/amp/
I don't get what you are trying to imply? That anti-freeze solutions for wind-turbines arn't real? I just told you why they didn't because they did not expect the wind-turbines to freeze.
Also, the main issues actually with what happened in Texas was natrual gas and not the wind mills.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.texastribune.org/2021/02/16/texas-wind-turbines-frozen/amp/
What? That doesnt even make sense?
Cause was frozen natrual gas wells. Electricity from natrual gas dropped by more than 45%.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.texastribune.org/2021/02/16/natural-gas-power-storm/amp/
Do you know what antifreeze does to animals?
Oh my God. We are going to destroy all the rainforests with our clear cutting, oh the noes......... wait, there's more trees on earth today than there was 150 years ago, how did that happen....... we ain't running out of oil.
Oil? Do you mean "dinosaur blood?"
Dinosaurs had blood? I thought they were made of stone!?!? What the f..... bible lied bro......kek
