What I don't get is even if you don't believe in climate change everyone on earth should be a strong supporter of renewable energy. The amount of fossil fuel on earth is limited. What happens when we run out. Humanity will have to shift to renewable sources of energy eventually. The faster we make the pivot the better. I'm a massive fan of President Trump but I wish he would change his mind on climate change and renewable energy.

I doubt I will change any minds considering people are using arguments like well "CO2 is good for plants." How does that have anything to do with climate change? Water is good for humans and plants does that mean more tsunamis would be a good thing? The natrual carbon cycle (including plants) cannot absorb all the carbon produced once you factor in anthropogenic (human-made) carbon. That is the issue.
We can say with beyond a 99.98% degree of confidence that climate change is man made because not only has there been a spike on carbon dioxide but the vast majority of the increase is man-made carbon. We know this by measuring the concentration of 14C which has a half-life of 5700 years meaning it can't be produced from fossil fuels. Not to mention the fact that mankind's increase in carbon mimics the increase in carbon ppm. Increase of 40% since the industrial revolution.
Why is it so hard to accept that climate change is man-made?
Because when you really look into it for yourself, turns out it isn't. Even from the lefty viewpoint. "Billions of years ago 100% of matter was on fire. All matter got burnt up, it cooled and CREATED life." There used to be an Ice age. Before that not an ice age. No humans had coal power plants!?!?!? WHat??!!? Think logically. The worst we can do is kill humans off the Earth, and maybe a couple other species. Yes that is bad, but it is only from making the air bad for us to breath. The plants though, can handle much more co2 then we are giving them, hence my example. Also concrete is terrible for the "enviroment". We should probably stop building cities. No more apartments, no more roads. To get to carbon zero this would be needed. Only hemp tents for everyone.
I'm actually okay with no more cities and concrete. Just for the lulz when the liberals cant hide in their enclaves and have to make their own foods
I like that future also fren, it just may not be for everyone.
