It's fear, that's why they say "his lies about a stolen election", like all coup plotters and commies, they need the population to believe the absurd and accept the results, as long as he says it's stolen, they cannot shape reality the way they want, hence the pinning of so called "violence/insurrection" on his "lies", what a bunch of bitches!

Their main goal is for the population to believe it, but they can only convince a significant minority. So their secondary goal is to have as many additional people as possible believe that most people support the establishment. In this, they are successful.

The scam, you see, is not to convince people that 2+2=5. It's to convince people that everyone else believes that 2+2=5, so that everyone feels action is hopeless.

Their fake poll numbers are a part of this. Since the 2016 election, we've seen actual election results that wildly differ from establishment polling. This is because the purpose of polling is not to discover what people think, it's to tell us that most people agree with the establishment, to discourage coordination against it.
