Haha of course they enforced it on Bavarians, who are the more conservative, national- and Euro-skeptic people. Did they fight it, though? Nah

They can move those numbers up and down at will and the average person has no clue. Ohio could have 20,000 cases tomorrow if they wanted to. All they would have to do is change the sensitivity of the PCR tests.

There is a huge issue with the Czech Republic. They are getting savaged by Covid. The counties next to the border (in Bavaria, but also Saxony) have more outbreaks. That's when Bavaria had more cases compared to Germany.

Bavarians are conservative but on this matter I think they are least unhappy with covid restrictions. More people are unhappy in the states of the former GDR (there are many people with more extreme positions both left and right) and in the south-west where the biggest resistance group against restrictions comes from
