If you can't teach in person, mask-free, no plexiglass, no barriers, no social distancing and 100% the way it was prior to a year ago, you should resign or be fired. There's no excuses. If you think you're "at-risk" because of your age, you're likely too old to teach and one of those who refuses to change. You probably never changed your teaching style and have a "my way or the highway" approach that turns kids off anyway. Time to be put out to pasture.
