We don't need a minimum wage law to raise it to $15 or $24, inflation will force that to rise to that level all by itself. Wait 6 months... 15 an hour won't be enough anymore.

Clearly there is not a sustainable pay for many workers. $8 an hour is not enough to survive. $10 an hour is not enough to survive. With the cost of living the minimum wage needs to be a lot higher. However comes the issue of small businesses not being able to pay their employees. Also the greedy big businesses will just punish their consumers by raising the prices. So just raising the minimum wage would be bad, and would hurt more than it helped.

There are a couple of options. One - Don't raise the minimum wage, but set a cap on how high business can raise the prices of their goods and services, so that they can't extort consumers. And also set a cap on the amount of product that large corporations can purchase, to keep a more level playing field with struggling smaller businesses that don't have their purchasing power and would have to raise prices to compete.

Or require large multi billion dollar companies run by billionaires that could afford to pay more to pay more. Wal-Mart should have to pay higher wages. But smaller companies that made under a certain amount to be exempt from the higher wage pay.

The same way we handle taxes. People that make enough money pay taxes, and those that don't - don't.

You know - not for or against but all of that could be done without money flying out the door on bs, foreign and domestic. The core of America First is that decision makers mage decisions based upon what is best for Americans first. And that is controversial. We had a Covid Bill and Ds and Rs sent money to gender studies in Pakistan ... and we still don’t know who included it. I can’t even.

min wage is meant for entry level, students, and first time job seekers. If you are still making minimum wage after more than, lets be fair and say 10 years, then you deserve minimum wage for the rest of your life.

When you're in a serious distress and the world won't help your people after giving them OUR MONEY for years and years, that's a signal that you should stop ALL USAID and give your PEOPLE MONEY and apologize for the lockdowns, which have been scientifically proven not to work

This is not socialism

This is recompensation

This is insurance payout. Our government is supposed to insurance against war, pandemics, and matters of national security

in this case, national secuirty failed in many ways and it harmed the US small business owner and families

The US government owes them compensation for 2020. Period. Not welfare. They need to be paid back for their lives that were wrongly interrupted BY THE GOVERNMENT

This is the government paying people back for the iatrogenic harm they caused
