This was a clear-cut example of the propper application of deadly force in order to continue to breathe. If found guilty it will send a message to all of us, but it won't be the message they intended. At a point, after self-defensive violence is "outlawed", it becomes reasonable to conclude that the best sure way to stay safe and alive is to preemptively, covertly, attack likely would-be agressors.

Arguably what is needed. Patriots don’t need to overthrow the US government, they just need to make it so that disenfranchising and ignoring them has consequences far too high to be worth it.

Ultimately, democracy is always underwritten by the threat of violence, should one side decide to cheat.
