Reparations for fucking WHAT?

Seriously? For what? I don't understand. Why do a small group of people who's family 3 GENERATIONS ago, who may or may NOT have been slaves (it's going to be impossible to tell now since we don't have direct documentation of who is who) deserve reparations?

The people offended/damaged are dead. They've been dead. You can't give reparations to fucking dead people. The people living now never experienced ANYTHING CLOSE to slavery or racism. They don't deserve shit. They can work for everything, like everyone else.

There are so many problems with this:

1.) How do we verify the ancestry of the descendent of the slave?

2.) How do we confirm that said person who died 200 years ago WAS a slave?

3.) How are we going through the process of confirming the documentation is authentic?

4.) Where is the documentation coming from?

5.) How do link the lineage of the slave to the living descendent now?

6.) What if they're dead?

7.) What if they're incarcerated?

8.) What if we can't link SSN to the lineage?

9.) Do they need to research their own lineage?

10.) How much do we pay the living person that's never been enslaved?

11.) Is there a scaling system?

12.) Are field hand slave descendants given more than ones that worked in a house as a maid?

13.) Is there a cap on the payment?

14.) Is there a cut off year for the slaves?

15.) Are we doing it from 1776 to 1861? 1640 to 1861?

There are SO many problems with this and let's say we do reparations. There's going to be a SMALL amount of people that are going to get checks since it's going to be REAL DIFFICULT to trace the bloodlines back to VERIFIABLE documents that PROVE their ancestors were slaves. Which is going to REALLY piss everyone off. You've pissed off the white people because the money we're giving is unearned since those people haven't ever been slaves and it's going to piss off the black people because they're going to have to jump through MASSIVE hoops and odds are, their ancestors weren't slaves and it'll takes YEARS to find out and you'll no doubt be put in a database and they won't be getting rid of that data they have on people.

Most people (including white people) don't know and don't care where they came from and that's how it SHOULD be. Because we're ALL American.

This seems like a way to launder more money and siphon more money out of Americans and inflate the currency.
