Are they really going to sit through classes, take notes, and do homework? I highly doubt it. People value something if they have a stake in it. If it's free, they won't have any reason to value it. They'll drop out, costing the US taxpayer a fortune, because you know who's going to pay for it, then have something else to complain about.
I say don't even think about getting college for free if you couldn't bother to take high school seriously. Show me you at least made it to your classes and attempted to get good grades in HS, then we can talk.

They did more than that. They also raised billions in funds, for themselves. Not to compensate for the damage they caused.
