I don't really see it being "discussed" - something that is fairly obvious, just by looking at the simple facts. covid DOES NOT affect people of far east and south east asia.

extremely "diverse" set of countries from high-tech Japan to poor Philippines and it's 10 million slum called Manila.

Nothing in common - other than similar genetic makeup AND extremely low covid death rate - cmon, Thailand recorded 83 deaths over the course of the whole year. it's a 70 million people densely packed poor country.

I think NYT , last summer was up to something, hehe:

"Is it the social distancing embedded in Thai culture — the habit of greeting others with a wai, a prayer-like motion, rather than a full embrace — that has prevented the runaway transmission of the coronavirus here?

Did Thailand’s early adoption of face masks, combined with a robust health care system, blunt the virus’s impact? Was it the outdoor lifestyle of many Thais, or their relatively low rates of pre-existing conditions?

Is there a genetic component in which the immune systems of Thais and others in the Mekong River region are more resistant to the coronavirus?"

"genetic component" indeed...

conclusions are rather simple: we're in a midst of WW3, started over a year ago by China..

Someone said that when Red China took those anal swab samples of those 6-7 American diplomats over there, they got all the biological info. Data mined their asses
