Clearly Ron is running for President without saying he's running for President.

He is setting himself up for it but I'm thinking he would gladly move out of the way for Trump.

We need a wartime President and Trump wasn't it.

Ding ding ding, Trump had FULL AUTHORITY to STOP THIS COUP! We are currently OCCUPIED PEOPLE! Biden was SEATED, NOT ELECTED.

This. Trump has the vision and intelligence, but not the anger. We need someone who shares Trump's vision but has seen actual war.

Ron DeSantis is a former JAG officer - hope that military and law experience is a good wartime president notch on the buckle — if he’s the VP nom, I’d be happy

He'd better not.

None of this back-and-forth matters if we don't restore election integrity.

Agreed. He will move out of the way for Trump... but 8 years, once he starts getting some grey he will be good to be President.

Still need a VP, and there's a high enough risk that Trump won't be alive or capable in 4 years time. Worked for Biden though, so I don't think those things matter anymore. Still a waste of time if conservatives aren't going compete in the current power game.

Trumpism is transitory. It's purpose is to unite us and grow our numbers so we can defeat the enemy.

He's also a Nationalist, and strong central government is part of the reason we got into this mess. What comes after matters.

DeSantis is a Federalist, meaning he's working to return sovereignty to the States. He is showing the other governors how to do this. We need him where he is right now.

Once we've won and Trump rides off into the sunset, DeSantis will be a great peace-time POTUS.

Elections do exist. Republicans won elections up and down the ticket. That allows us to control the state houses and tighten up the election laws, hopefully enough to prevent a repeat.

As for the lack of spine, what I'm seeing at grass roots rallies tells me we've taken a gut punch but are collectively getting back up on our feet. This fight isn't over.

We don't want to use force when we might be able to do this without firing a shot.

Federalism only works when the limited central government equally forces the state governments to play by their own rules.

Seeing as the Supreme Court will not bring itself to do even that basic responsibility, the trust is broken and everything is spoiled as a result.

Politically weaponized hypocrisy won.

Trump/DeSantis would be unbeatable.

In a fairly run election.

He's better get rid of all voting machines. Especially the mostly Chinese owned dominion. But really they are all capable of the same fraud. Dominion was just the biggest one this time so they got all the attention.

He won’t if Trump runs, maybe VP.
