I've seen leftist permaculturists grow enough food to survive in apartment complexes. If they can figure it out so can you. A little bit of that rugged individualism and self-sufficiency that all patriots possess can go a long way if you get off your ass and try doing something other than naysaying.
I am not talking fruits & veggies; I already have a garden. Raising animals for meat isn't feasible for MANY people so we have no option but to buy from local farmers/ranchers or the stores. Doesnt mean that people are LARPing bc they rely on someone else for basic needs...it's called doing what they can with what they have to survive.

Many years ago we lived on an acreage and rented our pasture out to a farmer for his cows and bulls. One bull was very friendly and loved to sit with people and have his head scratched. It was tough seeing the cattle truck pick them up months later (our acreage was just for finishing them off before slaughter and bull sent to another farm for breeding again).
