Scapegoating Pence is overly simplistic.

He defended Trump loyally for 4 years.

He didn't have the balls to do what was right, in an unusual situation.

Same goes for SCOTUS.

If you are seeking where to place blame on "our side," then look to Republican state legislators who refused to exercise their constitutional authority, both before and after the election.
