I've toyed with the idea, but as someone with brain damage and someone who isn't functional every day (head injury). Also I have a very low BS tolerance, I'm not sure I'd be the best person to be running for any sort of office/involved in any sort of group. Media or art things, yes, I can get involved because if I screw up while I'm talking it's not that bad. But anything public facing is likely not a good idea for me. I'm trying to figure out how to help but work around the brain injury and physical health issues.

Holy shit fren, you and me are in the same boat. TBI and incomplete partial paralysis.

One way you can help is become an autist. Get into memesmithing. Get creative on getting the word out. Make connections with people who are more "functional" than you.

I've rekindled a lot of past relationships because of the current political situation. Many of them are very busy people. Become a "messager" for them. Regular folks are looking for answers more than ever right now. Sometimess all it takes is pointing them in the right direction.

I managed to shine a light on a lefty organization that was heavily meddling in our local affairs. We were getting fucked with a lot last year and we couldn't tell where it was coming from. I figured out who they were. Once I did, I got the word out to the right people and it went from there. That little bit I did made a tremendous impact.
