Regardless of the usage of distrust, it is highly likely that MSM has in some way altered perceptions about Putin for a considerable number of people on this site, let alone outside this site

Oh, absolutely. I bet the vast majority even on this board still believes Putin personally murdered journalists and laid down them explosives back in the 1990s himself, or at least, pushed the button. The conditioning is very strong, I'm just sayin' that "don't love Putin" doesn't necessarily constitute an unhealthy perspective like I just described. But I guess that's just me being a pedantic cunt!

If MSM vehemently hates someone, I tend to look at them in a more positive light. Trump, Putin, Assad, and Bolsonaro are among some of the only world leaders I believe are on the right side of history at the moment
