Changes to dutch voting this election:
- Mail in voting, sent out to all voters over 70 years of age
- Mail in votes with missing signatures may be counted
- Ability to cast votes up to 2 days in advance. Votes counted on election day but no public oversight of the ballot storage until then.
- Voters can now be empowered to cast votes for 3 other people (Up from 2)
- Counting can be stopped if counters get "tired"
- If the counting area is too small to count with social distancing, ballots will be moved to a separate location to be counted, with (As far as we know) no public oversight.
- Apparently votes will be hand counted, then put onto USB sticks and gathered in a central computer system for the final tally
It's like they looked at the US election, said "That's exactly what we're looking for!", and copied the greatest hits...
Good luck I hear the CCP likes to buy weak countries.
