My sons school called on Saturday, 3 days after he got symptoms of Covid saying he was in close proximity contact with a student who tested positive for Covid and that he was to be quarantined for 14 days.

My family had a meeting, my self, my wife, my son and daughter to discuss the 'quarantine'. We all agreed that we will no socially isolate my son, if we all get it so be it, we will not force my son to stay behind a door, nor socially isolate him from the family.

I already had covid in November, I self isolated myself from my family and nobody got it.

My daughter said, you had it and didn't die, I think we can handle it if we get it too. Shes 11 and one smart cookie.

Parents who socially isolate their children are doing more harm then the virus will ever do to them. Fuck those people, willing to sacrifice their children rather then be a parent.

There used to be a time in this country when people would die for their kids, now they would rather kill their kids then have the sniffles.

Cowards.

Social media has destroyed society. People who consume it regularly, subconsciously run decisions through that filter instead of critical thought first. If the price to be paid socially is deemed too high, that is what will drive the decision. There is little concern for the child’s well-being when you’re a coward, cowardice is a character trait of the Marxist.

Neighbor kids mom had tested positive a couple weeks ago and we never stopped the neigbor kid from coming over every day and they didn't quarantine at home. Mid last yr when our son had to quarantine from school since he was considered a close contact we never secluded him to a room by himself either.

Some people are just shitty parents.
