I'm a proud Italian American, when my family first came to this county long after slavery had been abolished. They worked hard to get to where they are now. If you try to make me pay for something my people had no part in, I will simply pack my bags and leave this country. Say goodbye to all the wealth owned by modern day Whites who had nothing to do with slavery. Also fun fact, the blood of the White Union soldiers who gave their lives to free slaves they didn't even know should suffice.

Yeah. I'm getting tired of being blamed for things that my ancestors actively resisted. Some of my ancestors were Quakers. They signed the first petition AGAINST slavery in the New World, way back in 1688.

Frankly, it shouldn't even matter if your ancestors actually owned slaves themselves. You are not responsible for their actions. I wouldn't even say that Kamala Harris should pay reparations for the slaves her family owned, she would only owe something if she had a slave of her own. And reparations should only go to individuals who were actually enslaved, not their descendants or random people with a similar skin color.

I know that's sarcasm, but really, what color do you expect a Dutch Quaker named "Abraham Isacks op den Graeff" to be?

Dude was probably whiter than marshmallow.

Your name is offensive and screams oppression. Tolerance demands your name be changed to 8thGenPrivilege

Good luck with that.
