Not very patriotic! I don't think CA is the political powerhouse it's been trying to portray. 1.8 million registered voters signed the petition to recall Newsome. You want your frens dumped into the ocean?
There are tons of conservatives here, we're outnumbered in the cities though, and having living in a city it makes sense why. In cities you NEED all those social programs and city-funded services like trash pickup, you CAN'T be as independent by yourself as you can in the country... but the total overreliance on these programs and "nanny government" attitude that extends to social welfare problems for single mothers and poor families is like a parasite that infects the minds of everyone who wants to be a do-gooder. There's just so much corruption of people pocketing our tax money too.
