Seems like every new show, commercial, or piece of media has to push transgendereds, gay couples, biracial couples, etc.
I have no problem if someone is gay or wants to be trans. I'm white and my girlfriend is asian. But why does it constantly have to be shoved in our faces? It's so obvious and forced. Like they can't even show anything traditional anymore.
Just saw a commercial with two men making out. Then checked out this new horror show on Netflix where the main character is transgendered. The next episode they were gay. How long until kids being transgendered is shoved in our faces via the media?
We don’t watch any “mainstream TV”. Tonight we’re watching quantum leap on Quantum Tv through the antenna. We watch the local news twice a week on Monday and Friday for only 1/2 hour at best. I have been completely programmed the last month I have been listening to the radio (podcasts etc..)with headphones and working around my house. TV very hard habit to break.
My final "mainstream" hold out was local news. The corporate news push is now so strong at the local level that it was finally easy to give that up. Now I just go to the local tv websites for a quick overview of what is going on.
