Yes Irish were slaves but Irish had enough self pride that when enslaved they were not gonna fucking just submit. Africans were found to be docile and easily manipulated. The rest is history.

The civil war didn't even have to do with slaves neither too did their deaths.
The freed slaves ABSOLUTELY deserved reparations. Yall are acting like they didn't. They did. This country and slave owners directly profited off their life and labor.
The argument should be situated on the fact that current blacks are not and were not slaves and thus their is no service rendered to repay.
And no. The Africans that sold blacks should not be responsible for reparations as they were a finite services. Here is cargo....cargo paid.

Slaves don’t deserve any reparations.it doesn’t happen in human history;every slave group when freed, usually leaves the country and goes to a new land or back to their ancestral homes.
Abe Lincoln was a fool for not removing them all from America.a lot of the slaving families were part of the people who pushed for the civil rights act and they also pushed for immigration act of 1965 and they have destroyed the country ever since.
Wow. Now that's ignorant. First of all Return them to where? There was, a uniqueness in American slavery that was different than pure colonial slavery. Slaves previously were from conquered lands I.e. Greeks fight Minoans, Minoans lost, Minoans captured into slavery and marched to Greece.

there was no record keeping of what nation the slaves came from, only the port of departure.
slaves were stripped of their language and traditions so they would have been unable to find their way to their nation anyway if brought back
the cost to make a transatlantic trip to bring freed humans back would have been unsustainable for millions of the former slaves
Also they were no longer Africans of any nation at that point. There was 50 some years between the cessation of importing slaves and the freeing of them.
Especially considering humans were cross bread to garner different bodies (like dogs) any resemblance to an original culture was purposefully eroded as the slave masters did not want them to have a cultural identity.

Didn't Lincoln or Madison create Liberia for them? America shouldn't have retained a lot of them or even imported a higher population of blacks so that the descendants of slaves will totally assimilate. Lincoln wanted to send them back but the black leaders refused and claimed that they were part of American heritage. Lincoln went against his better senses. I have nothing against blacks but blacks and black issues have been used as a tool by globalists to destroy the West and America ever since the Civil rights.

State’s rights is certainly behind the civil war, but so too is what the southern states wanted to keep. Slavery was a main driver of the division, without a doubt.
The bigger issue here is reparations lumps all people together based on race and forces the racism wedge between us. A tiny fraction of people had slaves and the number of slaves was also minuscule, relatively. Forcing all of today’s white people to pay for something they had no hand in is a sure fire way to start another war. Don’t point the finger at me and expect me to roll over.
On the flip side, there have been copious amounts of programs started and money used to lift the black man, but to no avail. They have proven to lack the will and capacity as a race to succeed in a merit based society. Sure, there’s plenty of quality individuals, but they are highly outnumbered by the weak minded, highly violent, criminal mentality that is steeped in their culture. Left to their own devices, they will never rise up. More money won’t make a difference and if we start the precedent of classifying charity as reparations, they will never believe their failures are their own.
