Brazil’s death toll is strange tho. This 2nd wave bullshit here in North America during our normal flu season is the perfect way to scare people but why are the deaths so high in a tropical climate? I’ve just figured that Florida has been fine due to climate.
They can manipulate statistics and at the end of the day it's largely old folks that are vulnerable to this disease. Go look at Africa, folks thought that with AIDS so prevalent it would do massive damage, but even the BBC pointed out that deaths hadn't been happening there and I am guessing it's because their life expectancy is lower and fewer folks make it into their 70s and 80s.
It's not obesity per se. More like obese people are mostly inside and have a lack of outside sun. Contrast that to kids who play outside on most days, get Vitamin D3 from the sun.
