They stormed the capitol over voter ID laws being PASSED? How is voter security a partisan issue? This basically just confirms the fact that Dems intent to cheat in elections, why else would you NOT want election security.

Isn't their main argument that voter IDs is racist (because people of color are too dumb to get themselves an ID card)?

Yup, even though it's nearly impossible to live without an ID.

The only somewhat possible scenario I see is an old person that can't drive and doesn't have a caretaker and they live too far from the DMV, but if that's the case then I doubt they could make it to the poll to vote. But there would be way more fraudulent votes cast than votes cast by people that fall in that category.

The other excuse is money, but I'm fine with giving out free IDs to the few people that don't already have one. I'd rather my tax money go to securing the election instead of funding supposed gender studies in Pakistan.

So, funny thing, I thought the same. Until I lost my DL. Not due to DUI or anything, just lost. Misplaced.

This was over a year ago. I’ve been driving, doing pretty much everything I’d normally do, and I never needed ID for anything. I don’t drink, so I didn’t need it for that, and it turns out most other ID requiring activities are optional.

That said, I absolutely still think voting should require an ID. Like, I don’t understand how that is even an issue. If you’re literally too dumb to get an ID, you’re too dumb to vote.
