Evanston?!? That used to be wealthy liberal Jews, lots of Holocaust survivors, nearby Skokie and Lincolnwood, too. Wilmette, just above it, is one of the wealthiest Chicago suburbs. Because that area was built up by Holocaust survivors, none of whom ever owned slaves, this sounds more like liberal virtue signalling crap...
