Well my question is, what does Conservatism actually conserve? Did conservatism conserve our rights to own firearms? Not really, since we have the NFA, the Hughes amendment, the 1994 "assault weapons" ban, and the ATF is allowed to exist. Did they conserve our freedom of speech? No, since Facebook and Twitter can ban you. Did they stop the government from violating the 4th amendment through all the spying they do on us? Hell no. Did conservatism conserve our patriotic culture and heritage? Nope, since American history is disregarded and disparaged in the school system and in the pop culture. Conservatism is terrible at its job of conserving things.

If the Leftists can re-brand socialism into "progressive",

then there is nothing preventing the re-branding of Conservatism

into "America First". I stopped being a "Conservative" in 2015.

I am an "America First Patriot". I only support "America First" candidates.

I don't think I've ever really been a conservative. I went through an identity crisis for several years.

I had a problem with the Democrat's lack of fiscal responsibility, woke nonsense and ridiculous immigration policies; the Republican's social conservatism, war mongering and kissing the Chamber of Commerce's ass; and the Libertarian's ridiculous free market absolutism devoid of socioeconomic realities.

Then Trump came into the picture and put the pieces of the puzzle together for me. I am a populist and a nationalist. That's essentially what "Trumpism" and "America First" are and how they are branded.
