That's funny. I went to Central Washington University for a time in the 1980s. One of the things they were known for is about once a month they would have a campus-wide steak cookout. It's in cattle country.

But I might note that the feminist professor was visiting from Pacific Lutheran University. They probably had her there as part of a diversity iniative because it was a very meat oriented campus.
