If you’re afraid to die, you’re afraid to live.

I'm not afraid to die, I'm afraid to have to live through seeing everything I hold precious destroyed before aging into irrelevance.

Everything you've ever wanted is on the other side of fear.

“A coward dies a thousand deaths, a hero dies but once.” – William Shakespeare

This philosophy is actually at the core of our culture, western civilization. It's such a noble idea and holds true.

Your heritage is being erased. You have a lot to be proud of, but they don't want you to know or think about it. Never forget who you are.

Nonsense.

He's right. A coward dies a thousand deaths, a hero dies but once.

Not everything is a "die on this hill" issue.

If someone skips you in line, you shouldn't be willing to fight to the death to prove you were in front. Some things are worth fighting against, however.

As always, generalizations are generally wrong.

Or the exception that proves the rule. Why do you think it's wrong?

I think you can take it's meaning well without being so literal and pedantic.

Real talk now.

That concept is a foundation of western culture, not something most people in the world embrace. Almost all europeans feel this way. This is the western culture you never get to actually hear about because they don't want you to be proud of your heritage.

I'm telling you this as life advice, so I hope you take it that way. Being this way is a major turnoff to most people so ignore this at the expense of your own social life:

Frankly the kind of a reach for a 'gotcha' means you are doing absolutely nothing and makes you look like a fool. In real life, it makes you look weird. The only place that goes for that shit are the hive mind drones reddit.

Serious question, are you fresh off the boat or something saying some shit like that?

All that being said, Shakespeare put it more eloquently.
