The Proud Boys usually coordinate with each-other as protection for protests that get attacked by Antifa. That is what they do, they are a drinking club that fights with Antifa whenever Antifa shows up.

The fact that they would have radios to communicate with eachother makes sense. They are basically Bouncers for protests.
