I got an honorable discharge, but I have heard it is possible for people to get an "other than honorable discharge" upgraded to an honorable discharge after a period of time. Not sure exactly how that works.
If you get a dishonorable or other than honorable discharge, it might make it more difficult to get government jobs, but I think most non-government jobs wouldn't give a shit about your discharge status as long as you didn't do something crazy. Refusing to take part in a political photo op in DC would likely help you with conservative employers anyways.
Chairman Jao Xiden has all the characteristics of a full-blown dictator. He isn't fooling anyone. Even the locusts that are the left are pissed off at Kids In Cages. He simply can't win.
I'm not military. But I have scruples and a conscious.
Hell, I was in the military in the past, and if I saw what was going on today, I'd take a discharge in a heartbeat.
I seriously doubt any soldier will look back on protecting Biden and be proud in any sense of the word.
People act like it's impossible for someone in the military to leave. I've seen people go AWOL for way less than this.
