No, I don't think so. I don't think the NG is ever going to leave. Just like the fence surrounding Congress isn't ever going down. They're permanent fixtures now. Because once the Government gains a little bit of control or power, they never relinquish it. EVER.
They might work out a deal with other blue states to rotate the NG in and out, or they might even replace the NG with the Regular Army, but they're not leaving. Not ever. Welcome to the new normal. Next will be NG at state Capitols in blue states. Paranoia is going drive the loss of liberty.
I would recommend talking to Michigan, Virginia, Maryland, and the other few states that still have the NG there.
Notice how only blue states still have troops there. All red states have pulled their people out. Only Democrat states run by Democrat Governors keep them there.
Optics. But lo and behold... the truth of it is revealed by the way the DC elites treat our military men and women. Despicable.
