Because in the Soviet Gulags, actual criminals were assumed to be victims of oppression from the ruling classes, so they gave control of the prisons to the "classical criminals" like rapists, murderers, violent assailants "protesters" etc.

Their philosophy is that criminals are far less guilty than people who voted for Trump.

Because they're still PEOPLE.

You realize that not all people in prison are monsters right? Some made mistakes that cost them their freedom. Some got caught up in shit. Some are legit there and shouldn't be. Do you realize how many laws we have on the books? It's well over 30,000. Some didn't even know they were breaking the law.

Do you even realize the incarceration machine is a for profit industry? Did you know that most prisons are privately run and owned? Did you know that they make BILLIONS a year for incarcerating people? That gives incentive to find things to lock people up.

You realize that some people are literally railroaded into plea deals and then are sentenced by bias judges and DA's and are given sentences even though they didn't do anything wrong or didn't know?

It's pretty fucked of you to sit there and judge people and consider then lesser than you just because they've had a different life. You don't know them. You don't know their reasoning. You don't know their plight. Who the fuck are you to pass judgement. You don't even understand how fucked the judicial system is and how difficult it is to get out of it. They never leave people alone even after they do their time. Most of the apostles served time in prison. Are they lesser now too?

You prioritize 'Criminals' because you have thousands of people packed into a tiny building that are in constant close contact with each other all day long. It's the perfect breeding ground for a virus. Why the fuck do you think TB is such a problem in prisons? Because it spreads. And no matter what you fucking say, they don't deserve to die because you think others are more 'worthy' of a vaccine.

I cannot stand people like you. YOU are the problem and what's wrong with our country. YOU are the cause of our woes and degradation. YOU are the real sickness we need a vaccine for.

I sincerely hope you do some introspection and try to have compassion for people. Because they are people. They are human beings. Just like you and me. And you're only one step away from being the thing you despise and ridicule.
