From the beginning of time until 20 years ago or so, older folks used to tell younger people how good they have it, because things were constantly improving. Now it's the exact opposite. Older people are always telling younger people how great it was in the old days. That's not natural.

What is exactly wrong with helmets? Pick your battles. Helmets save tremendous amounts of lives.
