He's still alive, believe it or not, and was recently still part of the National Security Council's advisory board (until Trump kicked him off before the end of his term)!

This; when I heard about that when Trump fired him I was stunned.

I don't think anyone outside of government likes him; he was/is a dirtbag. How he still held position; even under Trump, had me massively puzzled.
