Hello fellow book rescuer! I hit up all local estate sales and buy any book pre- 1960 era. Especially school primers, Boy Scout handbooks, Folktales, children’s stories etc. Proud owner of “If I ran the Zoo” and the recently banned mulberry street, knowing full well this day would come when I bought them for $1 a piece.
Start collecting books before everything other than the communist manifesto is banned.
