Michigan is also where Jaden Hayden situation occured. He, a 20 year old man, had mental health issues and lived in a group home, with a pending assault case (from a prior group home). When he started hearing voices, he was tested positive at the University of Michigan, and so they put him into a nursing home. He then filmed himself beating up a 75 year old resident, which he uploaded online, and stole his credit cards. The resident had four broken fingers, broken ribs, and a broken jaw after the beating, and died two months later, having suffered depression and not eating properly after the beating.
