Gay flags on nearly every church up here in the N. East. Along with the BLM tag.

All denominations.

Shit, I didn't realize it was that bad.

I live in Appalachia, churches around here are more likely to fly Dixie than gay flags lol

There is no denomination more divided than the Southern Baptists. I live/work amongst them and generally admire them. But they are a lot more decentralized which makes them harder to take over like the episcopagans and lutherans and Presbyterians.

RobertSparks777 14 points ago +14 / -0

"episcopagans' Ha, I have to steal that. I did a contracting job at an episcopagan church and the female priest told me about her wife and then shot me a piercing gaze to gauge how I reacted to it. On the inside, I was thinking "what pure scum she was" but I didn't let on externally.

We all need to step up and start calling these people out, they do not but destroy the Body Of Christ and it's up to us, everyday Christians, to speak up and realize we are going to be persecuted and brought before judges and rulers and ultimately put to death but these evil demons did the same to Jesus.

Christians have to stand up and fight to save this Nation otherwise we will hand our kids and grandchildren a Communist America and I'd rather not do that.

Check out Pastor Tony Spell in Baton Rogue, he kept his church open and is now facing serious charges and jailtime for putting Jesus first as he should. This is what's coming for every Christian, you can't run or hide only fight or die.

Russell Moore is an embarrassment. I had hoped that Al Mohler could right things and shore up the convention, but he seems reticent to do so.

3
Dfalt 3 points ago +3 / -0

Decentralization has always been a major part of Southern churches of all denominations, and is unironically one of their greatest strengths. People with different takes on Christianity tend to get along better here because the prevailing thought is "if you don't like it, build your own church" and people do.

Went to Grand Rapids MI late last year, churches with massive LGBTQRS+ and BLM flags draped from them. I’m talking 20 ft long, I was soo disgusted and taken back for real. Couldn’t believe my eyes. Soo many churches that have been turned upside down

Yep, and when some people burnt the BLM flags that were displayed by left-wing churches, the associated press claimed that the churches themselves were vandalized, but never ran any stories about churches vandalized by blm or pantifa. https://www.catholicleague.org/burned-blm-banners-outrages-the-left/

Spez: ap did run stories about vandalized churches and religious statues. FNYT and WaComPo did not.

My church hasn't really embraced SJW stuff, but they're letting the water boil a bit. To be fair, I don't think it's any malicious or ideological reason. I don't like to use the word boomer, cause I think it's disparaging, but for lack of a better word, I think it's just cause our church is quite "boomerish". The staff seems to be mostly if not all "normies", and the pastor I believe is only plugged into MSM because he recently mentioned that people try to send him articles and political stuff and he doesn't have the time or interest to read it.

They aren't pro gay. They love gay people like the Bible commands and welcomes all people to come to the church and to learn about Jesus, but they recognize and publicly say that homosexuality, like all sexual immorality is a sin.

Where they've started to let the water boil is they said early on into the George Floyd riots "We stand with the black community" (which is a surreal thing to say if this wasn't clown world....what black community? the one in Georgia...New York, Tennessee? Or are you saying all black people are the same?) They did say that all racism is bad in any direction and that the only solution to all these problems is Jesus, but the point is they said that statement, and never condemned the riots, but did condemn the capital storming not long ago.

So as you can see, due to being plugged in to the MSM, a good, solidly Bible teaching church is polluting things by standing for really bad and evil movements. It's sad. My pastor I've always felt was a little too feminist. I mean he every once in a while claims that women are the better, less sinful sex and that makes my blood boil. I don't think he's a feminist in the way third wave feminists are, but I think he is due to him being a "southern gentleman who thinks he's being chivalrous and honorable". Men like him are why feminism has been so successful. It plays on men's natural inclination to protect and give women compliments and be chivalrous.

I get that everything I described makes him sound like an SJW, but he also isn't politically correct on transgender and gay stuff and will straight up preach the Bible even if the verse is uncomfortable for people. He's just a "normie" for lack of a better word.

I go there still mainly because for the super leftist city I'm in, there likely aren't better options (our family's visited many churches and this is the best), and also I don't drive and I go with my parents so I couldn't change if I wanted to. But I listen to other pastors on podcasts as well. All people are flawed, and if you're looking for the perfect pastor, or the perfect church, you'll never find it. Our church preaches the Bible and shares the gospel bravely, and that's the most important thing.

3
Jack_Burton 3 points ago +3 / -0

The Walls of the Church should not prioritize evangelism. We are to “go out” to make disciples. The walls of the church are for the body of BELIEVERS to worship and grow in their knowledge. The church as recruitment center has been damaging.

4
OnlyCaleb 4 points ago +4 / -0

It is. As our pastor says, the church is equipping each person to be pastors who are bringing the message to their workplaces, schools, etc. throughout the week. Our church is about equipping believers, worshiping together, growing in knowledge and when we come to gospel passages, we preach those as well for the people who aren't believers. Our church is one that literally goes through each book of the Bible, verse by verse. This week we'll read Romans 1:10-16 and study it, and next week it'll be Romans 1:17-22. That's just an example, but that's how our church preaches the Bible. It's not a "seeker friendly" church, they don't preach topical stuff or jump around or stuff like that. I just used the "shares the gospel bravely" more to say that our church is mostly unflinching in it's deliverance of messages that would be unpopular in todays climate.

2
MerlynTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think maybe you can advise the pastor to wean himself from MSM. Is it like CNN or "local" (ABC, NBC,) that he mostly watches? Maybe explain to him how those type of channels promote unChristian ideas and practices.

2
OnlyCaleb 2 points ago +2 / -0

Our church has like 1500 people or something like that.

And my pastor gets angry emails constantly, people with advice, a bone to pick, etc. It wouldn't be productive and would fall on deaf ears unfortunately. I think he mainly listens to the church elders and staff when it comes to advice and I don't blame him if I were in his position. Like me, he's a introvert. He's good a preaching, but admits that he's not a people person and he struggles with the other side of being a pastor.

2
KekistanPM 2 points ago +2 / -0

My pastor doesn't care about angry e-mails. He listens to the elders but his first authority has been and always will be The Bible. Every sermon he does he backs with verses.

I like when he says "It says so right here in this book! Don't look at me like that!" Always gets a chuckle from the congregation.

Far too many. They have slowly but surly implanted so much false ideology within Christianity, people actually think government run Welfare is following the Bible, while ceding all power of health and life to the alter of medical science built upon the corpses of murdered and mutilated children.

35
BloodElfSupporter 35 points ago +36 / -1

Yup, had a Leftist tell me that the Bible is socialist. I’m a recent convert so I’m still learning the Bible, but last time I checked the Bible is all about private property.

After some discussions I found out he confused socialism with charity. One is government sanctioned robbery and the other one is a voluntary, virtuous act stems from one’s kindness. The Leftist infiltration is pervasive and disgusting.

17
Isolated_Patriot 17 points ago +17 / -0

You've got it. They have dressed up sin as virtue around every corner. The Bible is also explicit that the Church is responsible for the widows and the orphans, not to pay taxes to the government so we can all forget they exist.

Welfare is nothing but greed, avarice and theft on the part of those demanding it, but even worse, it is allowing the "government" to take over our own responsibilities. In the once Christian world of our ancestors, these people would be taken care of by their Christian community, if not their own family. They would be taught to fish, not just given free food and cash for drug purchases.

The idolized utopian society with an equality that the communists desperately crave, where the poor and the disabled are cared for, actually exists in communities like the Amish. But then they would have to be moral, upright, and hardworking under an established patriarchy, forgoing the excesses granted to them by slave produced goods.

6
Brother_Bill 6 points ago +6 / -0

It's even more specific. The church has a responsibility to care for widows and orphans and poor and naked and sick and imprisoned who are Christians. Jesus said, "...whoever does this for the least of my brothers has done it to me." (Matthew 25:40).

And he narrows down the definition of His family to this: "Whoever does the will of God, he is my brother and sister and mother." (Mark 3:35).

Giving help to those who have no allegiance to Christ may make you feel virtuous, but often it is done in vain, since a handout is not what leads people to repentance.

"The leech has two daughters. 'Give, give!' they cry." (Proverbs 30:15)

3
OnlyCaleb 3 points ago +3 / -0

Well often orphans are too young to be either a Christian or an atheist, so the being commanded to help isn't exclusive to those in the church.

I was adopted by my Christian parents when I was 1 week old. Too young to know anything. Now I believe that though all are born in sin, I believe there's an age of accountability and there are verses that support that belief, so make of that what you will, but the point is, I think the Bible's clear, we're born at enmity with God, and since I hadn't received the gospel yet, I don't think I fell into the category of someone who's in Jesus' family and is doing the will of God until I heard the gospel and believed.

So a responsibility to orphans is one example where it goes beyond just those in the church.

In the Old Testament which is usually talking about Israel which was supposed to be a sort of nation church that was a beacon to the world about God, it talks about taking care of aliens and sojourners (This verse is not about letting in mass immigration), and it talks about other people they were supposed to take care of who wouldn't neccessarily fit in the category of those who were "with us".

But I agree that simply taking care of people who aren't Christians, but without telling them about Jesus, is wood, hay and stubble...It'll get burned up....It's not lasting work, cause if you're just repairing peoples houses for the church, but you don't tell them about Jesus, then you might as well just be a construction company. You're making their life somewhat more comfortable, but forsaking their eternal life. Giving them the gospel, the only thing that can truly save is what's important, and taking care of their physical needs is often what opens the door to allow them to be receptive of it.

3
MerlynTrump 3 points ago +3 / -0

Reminds me of what St. James said about how can you claim to care about a person's spiritual needs if you don't take care of their needs for food, shelter, etc. It has to be both, the Christian has to provide but also evangelize.

5
Conservativechick 5 points ago +5 / -0

Socialism/Communism is literally Satan's system or design for the world.

This is from Whitaker Chambers who was a member of the communist underground in the 50's, after he became a Christian:

“It [Communism] is not new. It is, in fact, man's second oldest faith. Its promise was whispered in the first days of the Creation under the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil: "Ye shall be as gods." It is the great alternative faith of mankind. Like all great faiths, its force derives from a simple vision. Other ages have had great visions. They have always been different versions of the same vision: the vision of God and man's relationship to God. The Communist vision is the vision of Man without God."

Socialism puts government in the place of God.

Also read 1 Samuel 8 about Israel wanting a king. "6 But when they said, “Give us a king to lead us,” this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the Lord. 7 And the Lord told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. 8 As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you. 9"

80960KA 2 points ago +3 / -1

but last time I checked the Bible is all about private property.

The Bible acknowledges property as a natural thing, but "private" maybe not as much as you think. You had private-ish property at the will of the ruler with varying degrees of security.

Ultimately though, if you're reading the Bible for talking points in favor of any political-economic model you're missing the point and it's no different from r/atheism posting the same out of context (or just plain odd old testament...) passages.

8
Isolated_Patriot 8 points ago +8 / -0

If you think "political," "economic," and "spiritual" ideology are different things, you might be missing the point.

Theft would not be one of the ten commandments if "private" property was not a thing.

You had private-ish property at the will of the ruler with varying degrees of security.

This has never not been true, even in America.

4
80960KA 4 points ago +4 / -0

If you think "political," "economic," and "spiritual" ideology are different things

You can't map back "socialism" and "capitalism" to any traditional models because they're things that emerged from and depend on industrialization.

This has never not been true, even in America.

Never said it wasn't, and granted, the Bible doesn't either. Bible is more like "obey just Kings bro" than like Hammurabi or the Magna Carta or the Constitution. God really only lays out detailed policy for God and leaves the micromanagement to rulers.

Theft would not be one of the ten commandments if "private" property was not a thing.

Then taxation is definitively not theft, as many modern political theory junkies like to reiterate.

5
Isolated_Patriot 5 points ago +5 / -0

God really only lays out detailed policy for God and leaves the micromanagement to rulers.

You should reread Kings and Judges.

2
CuomoisaMassMurderer 2 points ago +3 / -1

Interesting thing on this point:

one passage says the early Church "held all things in common. They distributed to each according to his need, from each according to his ability." I think that's in Acts.

This could be termed communism. It was a commune. Not a Nation. It can work in a small community, voluntarily. It has NEVER worked in a Country.

It's good to see you still here! We have c/Christianity. Have you seen it?

3
Jack_Burton 3 points ago +3 / -0

You are conflating a verse “ All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.” Acts 4:32

With a socialist talking point about needs and ability. You should try really hard not to misquote the Bible, especially if you mix it with a political ideology that killed millions. It takes seconds to find an accurate Bible verse.

“One in Heart and Mind” is the key here. That must exist prior to the sharing.

The Bible condemns thrives and robbers as those who will face Hell. You cannot be a thief or robber without property rights.1 Cor. 5:9-11

0
CuomoisaMassMurderer 0 points ago +0 / -0

I don't know what version you're using, but you err in your attempted correction. You also act as if the communists didn't get their verbiage from Scripture.

You finish correctly, which is why I pointed to Scripture. Again, any version I use doesn't say "one in heart and mind," but it conveys the idea well enough.

Context is always king. And the poster can get the context that's important to know to be able to deal with these people. Your stated point matters, but knowing the origin of their own verbiage is important, too.

The sheep and the goats. Been happening since the New Testament times.

The false churches won’t be attacked as they serve the father of lies.

The churches where the gospel is being taught and Jesus is worshipped will be targeted. However, the building is a building. The actual church is the corporal body of believers, those will never be subdued.

Will they? The one's behind all this have been working the protestant denominations, Christianity in general, and Catholics specifically for a very long time now. Their metrics and indicators are all or a sufficient number of them are seemingly showing green that their plans can unfold .

It is actually why I am worried about the civil war stuff, because these psychopaths of the clan don't and would not set these things up without having considered that and planned for it, just like they instigated and orchestrated the civil war and knew exactly how to get the south to fall for the trap of kicking things off in a hot headed way, way before they were prepared for the fight.

For example, what do you think they are importing millions of foreign people for, who are all way more beholden to the regime that gave them gibs and parts of America than they are to the Constitution or the rightful heirs of America. You think that some foreign hispanics, africans, asians, and even europeans are going to side with patriots that insist on abiding by the Constitution and prevent federal tyranny? You're fooling yourself harder than that whole blexit "muh Africans" grift and con job that didn't even work after telling the Africans they would get a platinum plan that you white tax slave people get to pay for.

People could do the simplest thing. Simply wear a small discreet stainless steel, unadorned, cross around their necks on a thin chain. No big deals, no demonstrating, ranting, raving, carrying signs, getting arrested. Just wear the smallest thing on their necks. Available cheap online.

Communicating quietly a simple fact, that this person still adheres to the basic faith of his ethnic past. And no, he won't discuss it.

Say, when questioned, "A relative gave it to me," and change the subject. That doesn't sound like much, but what if such little crosses were EVERYWHERE on every neck? Well, every MALE neck, because attacks might come, so spare the ladies.

When you get into arguments, you have lost already!!! Say nothing!

Questioning people will get mad and exclude you, but what if ALL the people they turn to, instead of you, also had something similar?

And no, they shouldn't be all exactly alike. Too cult-y. Stainless steel, because it is chemically inert, can be worn day and night and in the shower, never taken off, and is cheap. Cheap can be good: it's just your statement and doesn't make you a fancy big-shot or a show-off. They are available by the bushel online, for less than lunch money. Buy a dozen and give them out free to anybody who will take one.

Not to me, I am something else, but I like Western Civ. It's rational, beautiful, good, and it underpins the US, a country that is angelic.

Listen to John Harris, "Conversations that Matter." I think he is a Master's Seminary graduate & very good at explaining what is going on in the church. I have listened to many of his podcasts & you tube bits.

I might not believe, but I'll protect the right to do so all the same as the rest of you.

I see a lot of leftists fighting, that's for sure. Where are our guys? One AK would fix that whole scene.

Yes, but where are you? Im not any better, but most people won't even take off the fucking mask or cancel Netflix...

mharmless 1 point ago +1 / -0

won't even take off the fucking mask

Hell, they won't even comply maliciously! My Tyvek body cover, full face mask, and big black rubber gloves cost less than eighty bucks online, and very effectively communicates the whole 'this shit is clown world' to random people while still complying with these unconstitutional mandates when stores insist on it.

But they won't do that either, because then your dissent is visible. Bitching online is one thing, but god forbid anybody out in the real world realize you don't support this shit and think its stupid! What would the neighbors think!

Frankly, I now believe we deserve everything we're getting.

Dead center of the country, equally far from every point of interest, lol.

As for "cancelling"...

I haven't worn a mask in months, I haven't watched Youtube in months (other than the President's CPAC speech because other accesses were being spotty), I have cancelled my accounts with every video service other than Bitchute and Rumble, I don't buy from any store or brand that spoke against the President, I fight one of my brothers over Marxist bullshit, I disowned my alma mater, my three online personas were all "killed" (one of those was my creative outlet, so with that died the fantasy universe I'd been cultivating for years; one was my Discord account that contained nearly all my internet friends; the third is this one, which has been compromised for a while, but it still sucks to know I'm not welcome anywhere but here).

So yeah. My entertainment life is pretty shambly at the moment because I'm fighting with all of the zero authority I have to fix this. Imagine if someone like me also had an iota of authority. You'd get states refusing to acknowledge the false regime's authority in its entirety. Straight up "the federal government is illegitimate" declarations of denial. You'd have military-enforced audits. The SCROTUM justices would be disbarred other than the ONE who says "eh, maybe let's make sure this was legit".

Fair enough, it seems like you are doing your part. But still, you can't criticize our people when you obviously haven't made a life changing sacrifice like you suggested...

I'm printing this to give to my NAACP member-pastor on Sunday. Thanks.

Thessalonians 2:14-15

For you, brothers, became imitators of the churches of God in Judea that are in Christ Jesus. You suffered from your own countrymen the very things they suffered from the Jews, who killed both the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, and drove us out as well. They are displeasing to God and hostile to all men, hindering us from telling the Gentiles how they may be saved. As a result, they continue to heap up their sins to full capacity; the utmost wrath has come upon them.…

It's a great picture, but come on man ! Don't blame us Jews for all the trannies.

Some trannies are non-Jews. Like Bruce Jenner.

Although I was surprised to learn that Zoey Tur, the tranny who bullied Ben Shapiro on TV is a Jew himself.

How is “Jesus is King” anti Semitic???

2
PorcupineKing 2 points ago +2 / -0

No we are not and if we are we are getting slaughtered. We have a fake President in the White House, a known CCP informant in Congress, a senile old lady with massive TDS that wants to get her hands on the nuclear football, a completely corrupt judicial system, and a Governor that should be at a minimum suspended from his position until an investigation into massive manslaughter and sexual harassment is complete. Oh and we also have completely useless law enforcement system that chooses to harass innocent individuals for exercising their first amendment rights instead of going after those who are causing widespread chaos and destruction. We Patriots are the mass majority of this population and those who are trying to destroy our nation are a small percentage that are just being exceptionally loud. Yet we are just standing back and talking talking and letting them assault us physically and assault our liberties. I am beginning to believe our window of opportunity to really strike back is closing and one day soon we will find ourselves at a point of no return.

The united Methodist church in my neighborhood has quit meeting altogether, and the small groups are supposed to report to their staff liaison, take a health assessment and practice social(ism) distancing. I'm not surprised, their last priest/pastor/ whatever Methodist's call it was a social justice type and the current one is one also. Their website stated they believe the "science" and the "experts". Their neighbor churches have been meeting for sometime so I'm not sure why they couldn't meet also. All the churches around me require those stupid masks, and the baptist church requires that people get a ticket, yes a TICKET, to attend in-person worship. Sounds like pharisee behavior to me, sad really.

But we've got our own based tranny! Lady MAGA! Oh, and Charlie Kirk has his gay black friend too! See? We're not bigots! We're just as degenerate as the left!

I never understood this.
