When The Cosby Show was the #1 TV show.

When Oprah began (1986).

When Michael Jordan was the most popular athlete in the country, if not the world.

When Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston dominated music.

When rap music became culturally popular.

All with a Republican president for the entire decade.

Now, arguably, that list has some questionable characters and on it, and the world would be better without rap in it, imo, but I didn't care about any of this, nor was I against it, as a teenager in the 80s.

Black and White people got along just fine. There was the occasional Jesse Jackson rant about RaCiSm, but nobody really paid any attention.

It was a Great time in America...far, far better than now.

It's despicable how Leftists have turned Race into the defining and dividing issue for this country, and act like it was always evil and RaCiSt. when 30 to 40 years ago it was NOT that way.
