The lack of anti-trust laws is probably the most glaring example of how in the pockets of Big Tech is. People on the Left and the Right have been clamoring for Big Tech to be addressed, but they are the biggest donors, so we get to live in Clown World.
Sometimes I wonder if we aren't already living the Chinese nightmare or not. I have to imagine it's slightly different because the government owns parts of every business, but I also bet the people who aren't directly in the government give the government handouts there too. We know the government operates in a similar fashion. The times they've taken Microsoft to course over Internet Explorer being included with Windows was basically the government going "why aren't you paying us?"... We really do need to assure election security. State and National levels. I realize there are business secrets but yet, somehow China always manages to infiltrate and leak said secrets and get rewarded for it. Go figure. Any American average Joe (I shudder to say this now that we have El Presidente in office) would be put away for the rest of their lives if they leaked industry secrets.
