She's a bit late to the party.

Also, why not stay and speak truth to power? Make them fire you and expose again to the world that they are fake news.

Because at this point it has become impossible. The best you can do is go galt.

The .win people here did the same thing. I thought at the time we should stay on redacted and fight, but I was wrong.

Go out on your terms while you can. Don't let them slowly shut you down with fabricated and ever moving accusations.

That is how the completely silence you.

I think she was put on leave, probably for speaking out and was probably going to be fired anyways. I'm glad she did it on her own terms

You have to answer to the people who give you your money if you're on a TV network. That's why Fox cuts people off from badmouthing Soros. YouTube has their own bullshit blacklist of things you can't talk about it. I guess a wokelist let's be honest.

What you're saying is correct.

Said another way, we are allowing corporations dictate the news we hear. Isn't there a fancy word for that?

Why is this ok? Because we live in Clown World.

Said another way, we are allowing corporations dictate the news we hear.

That's the core tenant of freedom. The monopolization of those media companies is due to free market capitalism though. It's too bad we don't enforce anti-trust laws.

due to free market capitalism

It's due to crony capitalism. A free market has nothing to do with it. A free market is an ethereal as real communism. Both exist and function only in the vacuum of theory. Both theories are lauded as the antithesis of the other and the savior of everyone. Yet, they are always talked about in terms that ignore the corruptible nature of man.

The lack of anti-trust laws is probably the most glaring example of how in the pockets of Big Tech is. People on the Left and the Right have been clamoring for Big Tech to be addressed, but they are the biggest donors, so we get to live in Clown World.

Sometimes I wonder if we aren't already living the Chinese nightmare or not. I have to imagine it's slightly different because the government owns parts of every business, but I also bet the people who aren't directly in the government give the government handouts there too. We know the government operates in a similar fashion. The times they've taken Microsoft to course over Internet Explorer being included with Windows was basically the government going "why aren't you paying us?"... We really do need to assure election security. State and National levels. I realize there are business secrets but yet, somehow China always manages to infiltrate and leak said secrets and get rewarded for it. Go figure. Any American average Joe (I shudder to say this now that we have El Presidente in office) would be put away for the rest of their lives if they leaked industry secrets. Oh well, when you know the CCP feeds the politicians and they certainly won't bite the hand that feeds them (mostly blackmail, or is it some other woke word now?)

The current term is "grifting", but that's too polite for what they are actually doing.

The only difference between China and the US right now is we have a 2nd Amendment, and that's kept them from doing what they'd really like to do so far.

Also, we have people who were born thinking they were free and are a bit more likely to try to stay that way.

I think that's what really happened. She mentioned in the video that she was "on leave." They probably put her "on leave," and then gave her a choice of leaving and taking a buyout, or being fired and getting nothing.
