There was speculation that the Democrats were trying to get Gavin Newsome and Andrew Cuomo out of the way so they could not challenge Slaver Harris in 2024.
Newsom is no threat to Harris, he does what his aunt tells him to do. Cuomo has NO shot for President, he's not even liked in his own state, and he does not poll well nationally.
This is something else. I don't think this has anything to do with '24, but more to do with the impending political/legal shitshow from the fallout of his covid policies and nursing home deaths.
I can't see a legal shitshow happening or sticking. People like these are never exposed, never held to account. The media and the legal system cover for them, and if they foul up one nest with their incontinent droppings, there is always another well-lined one waiting for them.

I think NY residents who lost grandparents in the nursing homes are going after him and will get him. This was all over Fox last summer because their morning weather gal Janice Dean lost both her husband's parents in nursing homes in the spring.
Fox has given her a platform ever since and it has really woken people up. There are thousands of pissed off people just like her in New York that aren't going away
