Valid point - I’m not worried about day to day living, but rather the 1 unlucky time something might come of it and I get hit with a felony possession because I don’t have the conceal carry permit.
All I'm saying is instead of making a "stand" when they ask for your guns, it might be better to live and keep resisting.
I find it weird that there are two extremes on this site, the "go out in a blaze of glory" crowd and the "just give up cuz ur never gonna use ur guns anyways" crowd. At times, it almost feels like fed boiz trying to start something here.
I think waiting for the right political and social conditions can make owning guns more effective, even if it requires you to lose your guns in a boating accident while waiting for those conditions to emerge.
In my mind, I see myself burning the papers they send to pay for my guns like hippies did with draft cards back in the 60’s.
This is a good start. Keeping this in mind
If I weren’t leery of how strictly they enforce current gun laws, I would conceal carry without a permit. I’m brave but not THAT brave or foolhardy.
I've concealed carried for years and never been asked to show my ID card, then again nobody has ever noticed my edc either.
If you aren't that good at concealed carry it might become an issue.

Concealed means concealed.
Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
Etc, etc.
print photos of criminals/fbi agents and say they already picked them up and you are still waiting for paperwork they promised
If you have to "lose your guns" in a boating accident then you may as well really lose them because you will never use them.
That's a good way to get shot by police and then framed as a violent white supremacist.
Die with your boots on.
Of course.
