There is a lot of criticism of Trump picking the wrong candidates for key positions like the FBI and CIA but he is choosing from a very select pool of candidates because the UniParty has to approve them. Yes, he chose people like Chris Wray but he couldn't just pick someone outside of DC.

The Swamp is Deep and Trump tried to pick someone that would be honest and patriotic but where are going to go to choose someone to replace an FBI or CIA director? The list is short and they are lifers of the beltway and you have very few that are not influenced by the swamp. People like Peter Navarro are few and far between.

He coulda picked the best of what was available and then turf them for an acting position that he knows would get shit done.

Plus Trump had the House and Senate when he got into office. He shoulda picked whoever the fuck he wanted and then exposed those RINO's if they didn't confirm.

House and Senate? I think he had the Freedom Caucus plus Rand.

I wondered about that technique as well. Just pick outsiders and let them keep rejecting them, until their game becomes obvious. BUT he didn't do that.
