It's so obvious that this is to distract from the nursing home scandal, which is now hurting other blue states like Michigan that had similar issues but not as bad as Cuomo.
It's pretty much going like this right now:
Nursing home scandal leaks, Dems panic.
Dems get a few women to accuse Cuomo of sexual assault.
Media stops covering nursing homes and starts covering accusations.
Women drop the accusations a few weeks later.
Media drops reporting on the women, but conveniently don't go back to the nursing homes either. Cuomo is either in the clear or he's the token resignation so other blue state governors with a shitload of nursing home deaths aren't hit.
Keep in mind other attempts to distract us from the nursing home scandal like the media going all hands on deck with reporting Ted Cruz flying to Cancun during the Texas freeze didn't work, so the sexual assault scandal is their Hail Mary. They'll probably keep talking about Trump's speech at CPAC for a few more days as a distraction as well.
don't forget we're almost at 1 year since pandemic lockdowns started last March.. so that's going to be their focus from I guess MArch 3rd till April 1st.. then we get to have pride parades again and you can get married again if you want to, but only with 25 people, unless its a protest for BLM and not the lockdowns, then 100 people are permitted to gaggle
