I've noticed this the last couple of weeks, they're new accounts, talking about committing suicide, giving up blah, blah, blah. I think they're using alt accounts, or it's a coordinated effort to give the impression there are more people like that than there are. People with soft support of these people are new accounts aswell. Make sure you deport them, or block them. Check account history.

I have seen a few suicide posts. People generally don't tell anyone they are to commit suicide, particularly men. They just go and do it. In my opinion this is another demoralisation exercise. In the past, it has been noted that suicides happen in a cluster. If one person does it, then other will follow. So my guess is these accounts are egging people on so I report them. It is a sick bastard who encourages others to end their lives.
Can confirm. After my father's death I had very real suicidal urges that I only overcame through my faith in Jesus. Nobody knew until well after that, and even then only my best friend. If I were to have done it, it would have come as a surprise to everyone in my life.

The whole point of the letter is for the friends/family to find it after the fact so that their friends and family don’t try to stop them before it happens. If you actually plan on doing it and succeeding, you don’t let people know because everyone will try to stop you.
Some people do. It depends on the person. Some people announce on social media "I'm going to kill myself tomorrow!" and nobody believes them until the next day a news story comes out some kid lost his life and OD or hung himself. Sadly, there are a plethora of stories like this all over the internet. I'm not suggesting the suicide posts on this side are real or fake (frankly I've yet to see one), but just because someone announces it doesn't mean they're joking. I would concede that usually its just an empty threat, but not always.
