In August I showed her the scientific study on mask effectiveness that showed gator style masks are actually worse than not wearing any mask at all, her response was 'whatever, they're more comfortable so I'm not switching.' I asked her well if other people's safety and curbing the spread of the china flu were so important to you that you'd demonize everyone you saw not wearing a mask, how do you square that with the fact that the thing you've been wearing made it so you were doing a worse job at protecting people and curbing the spread than all those who went maskless that you railed on as jerks? She just said so what, and stayed with her gator mask. It's all a show for these pompous ignoramuses to prance around and feel superior.
