I'd be willing to bet that the counties with the large cities (i.e. Houston, Dallas, El Paso, Austin, San Antonio) will keep local mandates in-place.
All north Texas school districts just announced that masks will still be required for in person learning.
If they can impose a fine for not wearing a mask, they can impose one for the opposite. Don;t agree with it, but at this point, I'd like to see Abbott stick it the county bureaucrats. It'd show some remorse for the past year.
