Agreed, however for many of us - if HEB continues to require customers to wear face masks, we dont have any option but to travel way out the the way to get groceries unmasked. Who knows if Randalls or whatever won't also require them?
H‑E‑B along with every grocery store in Houston does NOT require masks. They say they do but they do not. I have been shopping there every Sunday and have not worn a mask in at least 6 months. Kroger is the same. Walmart too. Do not wear a mask. If someone says something just say “I’m exempt, I have a medical condition.”

I don't think HEB will stop requiring masks.

Saying you have a medical condition isn’t the same as them not requiring it. If they didn’t require it you wouldn’t be asked.
I just say no thanks or I’m exempt. My medical condition? I will go insane if I have to wear a face diaper. So mental health issue.
